Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County

In September 1970, the Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County was officially recognized by the New Jersey State Assembly as being a non profit corporation. In September, 1980, the Club held its first annual antique car show and flea market. In keeping with its ideology of community service, this first show and each subsequent show was used to raise money for local charities. From the original 12 members of the Club, the membership has consistently fluctuated from 110 and 130 members. At last count, there are nearly 300 club members including spouses.

In their car show cars are not divided into classes, which allow friends who drive different types of cars to park together. They will even hold spaces for your friends. If you let them know a day in advance, they can also reserve space for your entire club. The owner does not have to be with the car during judging. They do ask that the hood be left open so judges can view under it. Trunks need not be open and convertibles tops need not be in the up position. Windows need not be rolled up. They award over 80 trophies each year and that does not include the trophies for Best Pre War, Best Post War, and Best Work in Progress, Rusty Bucket and Oldest Car. They do not give a Longest Distance Award.

Vintage Automobile Museum of New Jersey, just as the club would be run as a non profit, educational and community minded entity. They are not simply planning to build an old car parking lot. Their plan is to put together an automotive heritage and preservation program. Plans for the museum include programs to enrich the lives of students of all grade levels. The automobile is an extraordinarily rich object, embracing science, mathematics, history, foreign languages, aesthetics and civil and social issues. Students, scouts, community groups and special audiences are benefit from their programs.

In 1953 during a period when the history of the early automobile had been largely forgotten, the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts VAE was founded. Automobiles had come to be called cars, had become utilitarian and were no longer used primarily for pleasure as they had been in earlier times. The two, Ken Gypson and Rod Rice are considered to be the two principal founding members of the VAE and it should not be surprising to find them participating in the clubs’ activities fifty years later and driving their antique cars considerable distances.

The purposes of the Auto Club of Vermont were to secure rational legislation, rules and regulations governing the use of automobiles, to maintain the lawful rights of owners and users of automobiles, to promos and support improvements of the highways of the State and to maintain a social club devoted to automobilism. Their membership includes a club logo window sticker for your car, a roster of club members and a subscription to wheel tracks, their monthly publication of club news, meets, local and regional coming events, business meetings, owner profiles, restoration project vignettes, technical memos and an opportunity to participate at any level of club activities.Their Membership is open to anyone with a passion for preserving automotive history.

Their mission is to develop and support genuine interest in the preservation and restoration of the products of the automotive industry, and collecting, retrieving, restoring and preserving said products for the benefit of the present and future generations. Auto insurance or car or motor insurance is insurance consumers can purchase for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Its primary use is to provide protection against losses incurred as a result of car accidents. Insurance is provided on your car, motorcycle or boat.

The Southern California Audi Club is dedicated to Southern California Audi enthusiasts and owners. They invite you to explore the Southern California Audi experience by discovering the heritage, tradition, and performance of one of the world's great marquees.

They need your help. The survey is an attempt to gauge interest in the calendar for the year, and to solicit help from members to make the chapter better for all in the year to come. It only takes a few minutes to complete, but it helps them to learn what everyone's interested in and what directions they should take as they move forward together.

It's your participation and input that makes it what it is. If nothing else, please use the general comments area of the survey to give them your general thoughts on the chapter and how it can be improved. They appreciate any input you may have, and look forward to receiving your submission.

Audi's four interlocking rings are emblematic of automotive excellence. For over a century, Audi has pioneered automotive design, performance, technology, and safety with a single minded determination to never presume that great is good enough. The word never is an absolute. And Audi is all about absolutes. Absolute clarity. Absolute vision. Absolute passion. Audi has never been about following trends and appealing to mass standards.

Inevitably, the car you drive is a reflection of you. Your aspirations. Your core values. Your soul. In your world, there's no room for half measures, no place for unrealized dreams. Great design, great performance, great heritage, and great presence, after all, need no explanation.
