The Company prides itself in providing a family atmosphere that welcomes, in addition to the real autophile car nut of the family, spouses, significant others, and members' children and grandchildren. With activities centered on their cars, there is still an abundance of other social activities to attract many members' entire families to the monthly meetings and other events. At present, with membership numbering over 225, their club family is comprised of people from all walks of life all with a common interest enjoying antique and classic cars.
From 1979 until 1986, the club held its monthly meetings at Harris Tool in Fitchburg, the Town Hall in Princeton, Massachusetts, and then at various members' houses until moving the meeting hall to the third floor of the Tucker Building in downtown Fitchburg, MA, from 1986 through Oct. 1999 courtesy of member Kit Tucker.
Beginning with the November 1999 meeting, the meeting location changed to the South Fitchburg Social Club at 47 Duck Mill Rd., Fitchburg, MA. Their club welcomes ALL members, family and guests to their monthly meetings, which are normally held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM.
Prior to the formation of the Mid State Antique Auto Club, several former members of rock met to form a new club. Rock was a club formed primarily of Ford Model T and owners. Rollstone was the name of an area of Fitchburg and was appropriate to find its way into the name of this club. The original club met regularly in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, in one of the member's barn. Meetings lasted as long as members could stand sitting on the hard boxes and barrels, or until the cold got to them during winter meetings.
As members faded in and out of the club, over the years, a few die hard, listed below, finally re organized in 1979 and became the basis of their present club, Mid State Antique Auto Club. They bring products to the people who need them around the world. They are proud of their strong global presence. Select a continent to view a list of countries with their offices.
