Minnesota Street Rod Association Established  in 1967. The Minnesota Street Rod Association was founded over thirty years ago by a group of Twin Cities rodders. The original 12 members met at a Pizzeria in Minneapolis. They created an association of local car clubs to serve as a forum to get information about the hobby to other clubs and rodders in the area. One of the first events the new Association hosted was a cruise night. They invited 200 friends to meet at St. Paul's Midway Shopping Center parking lot. After an impromptu car show some of the members took off to cruise to a local theater.
They filled the streets with rods and customs as the film American Graffiti let out. Just imagine the shock of the patrons leaving the theater to see the film come to life on the streets of St. Paul. After a couple of years, they moved the event to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. They call this get together back to the 50's.  From those humble beginnings, the Company has grown to exceed 13,000 members world wide. Back to the 50's now hosts over 10,000 cars and over 100,000 spectators.
The Minnesota Street Rod Association is pleased to offer the Non Oxygenated Fuel List for those seeking locations that provide this fuel to the public.  This information is updated on a regular basis for your convenience by the Company Legislative Committee. The Minnesota Street Rod Association often receives requests for street rod and classic cars to be available for various community events.  In an effort to provide this service to the community, as well as to their members the company has established Car Requests for any such notifications.
