The Club director, Jim Youngs, is an industry veteran and gearhead who has personally built several kit cars. Steve Temple, another kit car enthusiast serves as their Director of Marketing. Both Jim and Steve is former Editors of Petersen's Kit Car magazine. Together they bring over forty years of motorsports industry expertise and professionalism to the Club and Kit Car Builder magazine. Jims wife, Carolyn Youngs, brings the business perspective to the Club and she too has even built a kit car featured in the July 2001 issue of Kit Car magazine. They are also privileged to have Dr. Kit Car, actually a Technical Advisory Board made up of various experts in the automotive engineering, historical, manufacturing, service and kit car industries to give quick answers to their member’s questions and help them out when they get stumped.

They are also blessed with a stable of kit car experts who regularly contribute stories and photos to the magazine. Dan Burrill, stationed in Portland, Oregon not only covers events and feature cars in the Pacific Northwest, but is continually working on project cars and how to stories. The Company has built various kit cars and is currently working on a very special GT40 project. Joe Greeves holds down editorial duties in the Southeast, from his St. Augustine, FL home base.
 
The Company is an exciting new membership organization providing a wealth of benefits to kit car enthusiasts. They started in early 2002 and are growing rapidly.
