Great Autos of Yesteryear celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Great Autos of Yesteryear now have over 1200 members with a combined collection of over 3200 cars. Originally founded by Ted Davidson and Herb Rothman, Great Autos was born from the idea that there could be a car club for the rest of us. In their travels within various make specific clubs, Ted and Herb made many friends with like interests, and the idea for a car club that welcomes all makes and models of collector and special-interest cars was born.

On September 25, 1983, about 60 friends gathered to form a car club with the motto, Out of the Garage into the Streets. Great Autos of Yesteryear hold numerous events, often twice per month throughout the year. The annual West Coast Meet, held in July, brings together clubs from the Western United States as well as members from all over the world.

Great Autos of Yesteryear club is headed by an all volunteer board of directors. Area coordinators provide the backbone, organizing events and communicating with members in the Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Diego, and Orange County areas. They also have coordinators in Washington State, New Mexico, Oregon, and Arizona.

Auto insurance or car and motor insurance is insurance consumers can purchase for cars, trucks, and other vehicles. Its primary use is to provide protection against losses incurred as a result of car accidents. Insurance is provided on your car, motorcycle or boat. Insurance covers items like the insured party, the insured vehicle or the third parties. Different policies specify the circumstances under which each item is covered. Great Autos of Yesteryear are proud to be active in many community affairs as well as hosting an annual Concourse de Elegance event which raises money for charitable organizations.
