Mid America Old Time Auto Association

Advertising Information for covermecarinsurance
The Company was conceived in 1958 by a group of antique car owners living in Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Mississippi, who found that the major national antique car clubs were located too far away to fulfill their needs.  The concept of the organization was to bring together the several local antique car clubs in the region for mutual support and cooperation, but to allow the member clubs to retain individual autonomy.  It was incorporated as a Tennessee non profit corporation in January 1959.

The Company has one major Auto Show and Swap Meet in June of each year, which since 1968 has been held at the Museum of Automobiles on Petit Jean Mountain, near Morrilton, Arkansas.  In addition, there is one their sanctioned Fall Show each year, hosted by one of the affiliated clubs, upon application to the Board of Directors. See the links below to get more information.

Membership in their company is open to any person interested in old cars.  It is not restricted to members of the affiliated clubs, but membership in an affiliated club is encouraged for their members residing within the region served by them. Ownership of an antique car is not a prerequisite to membership in their company.  Indeed, a person who does not already own an old car but is interested in acquiring one, or wanting to restore one that he already owns, is encouraged first to join a club, then to start looking for his car or parts.  Other club members are good sources of reliable information on values, services and parts.
