Paul Bunyan Vintage Auto Club
The Paul Bunyan Vintage Auto Club was organized in 1972 by Kermit Anderson, Larry Oakes and Roger Tell. Kermit and Larry are still active in the club today. The club is a non profit organization whose purpose is to uphold and encourage the collection and preservation of antique, classic and special interest automobiles. They meet monthly in the winter months and host a weekly cruise night every Thursday evening May through September.
Insurance can cover some or all of the following items like the insured party, the insured vehicle or the third parties. Different policies specify the circumstances under which each item is covered. For example, a vehicle can be insured against theft, fire damage, or accident damage independently.
There is no more confidence than the one you get when you know that you can count on somebody. This is true at any level and especially important in regard to technical and practical support. Many automobile associations in the United States provide drivers with support and help to face common and more difficult situations in an easy way.
They held their first car show in 1983 this annual event is their major fundraiser. The carshow has grown into one of the Premier northern Minnesota Car Shows and is held at the Beautiful Bemidji High School. They have facilities for their show that no one else has. They have paved parking for over 250 show cars indoor and outdoor vendor and swap meet areas, a used car corral, and an air conditioned commons area and seminar facilities. They have always donated proceeds from their car show to area non profit organizations such as the Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, First Responders, North Country Hospice, Bemidji area Food Shelf, and many others.
Their mission is to promote and perpetuate the preservation, restoration, and the use of antique automobiles through individual and group participation for the enjoyment of the automobile owners, enthusiast, and the public.
